NEW DESIGN

NEW WELDING TECHNOLOGY

Reduction of the heat affected zone (HAZ)
The laser’s high precision concentrates the heat into a very small area, resulting in a significantly smaller heat-affected zone compared to other methods. This helps to maintain the mechanical and chemical properties of the 304 stainless steel outside the weld area, preventing distortion and loss of strength.
Lower distortion and residual stresses
Due to the highly controlled nature of the laser beam and the rapidity with which the material heats and cools, there is less distortion and residual stresses in the welded part. This is particularly important for 304 stainless steel, which can be susceptible to warping when exposed to high temperatures for prolonged periods.
High strength and quality welding

Laser welding produces joints with high mechanical strength and excellent penetration, providing durability and reliability in demanding applications. In addition, the formation of defects, such as cracks or porosities, is minimized, resulting in better weld quality.

Oxidation and contamination reduction

304 stainless steel, when welded using traditional processes, can undergo oxidation, which affects its appearance and corrosion resistance. Laser welding, being a faster and more concentrated process, minimizes oxidation and contamination, improving the aesthetics and corrosion resistance of welded joints.
